By downloading, installing, or using Readpository ("the app"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the app.
Readpository is an iOS application for tracking reading progress, capturing notes via OCR, and organizing reading-related information. The app is provided as-is for personal, non-commercial use.
You retain full ownership of all content you create, capture, or import into Readpository, including notes, annotations, images, and reading data. The app does not claim any rights over your content.
You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the OCR capture feature complies with applicable copyright laws. Capturing passages from books for personal reference and study is generally permitted under fair use, but redistribution of copyrighted material may not be.

We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or policies of third-party services.
If you choose to use cloud AI features, you provide your own API keys. These keys are stored securely in the iOS Keychain on your device. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your API keys and for any charges incurred through their use. We do not store, access, or transmit your API keys to our servers.

Your use of the app is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle (and don't collect) your data.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. OCR text extraction accuracy may vary depending on image quality, lighting, and source material.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, arising out of or in connection with your use of the app.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it from your device. All locally stored data will be removed when the app is deleted. iCloud data can be managed through your iCloud account settings.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Croatia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
